From the FoRIA Calendar, we’d like to highlight the Ward 5 Zoning Review Community Meeting that is schedule for this evening, January 9:
This is a reminder about the upcoming Zoning Regulation Review community meeting being held in Ward 5 on Wednesday January 9th, 2013. (You are invited to attend any of the following meeting times.)
Tuesday, January 8, 2013, 6:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. – Wilson High School, 3950 Chesapeake Street NW, 1 block east of the Tenleytown metro station on the red line.
Wednesday, January 9, 2013, 6:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. – Foster Auditorium, Ely Building, Gallaudet University, 800 Florida Avenue NE, 5 blocks east of the NY Ave / Gallaudet metro station on the red line.
Saturday, January 12, 2013, 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 noon – Room 2309/10, DOES Building, 4058 Minnesota Ave. NE, adjacent to the Minnesota metro station on the orange line.
Wednesday, January 16, 2013, 6:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M.– Takoma Education Campus, 7010 Piney Branch Road NW, about 3 blocks west of the Takoma metro station on the red line.

Copies of the draft proposed text are available on our website www.DCZoningUpdate.org, with links from our blogsite – www.ZoningDC.org, and a paper copy is also available for viewing at the Office of Planning (6th floor, 1100-4th Street SW) and at various libraries across the city, noted on our website and blogsite.
For those not able to attend the meetings, a second Twitter Town Hall is scheduled, on Friday January 14, 2013 at noon (#ZRR).
